Fall Fashion Statement

Many of you probably donn't know this about me, but I am into fashion and love taking pictures of myself when I dress very cute and trendy. I love the new fashion, especially the winter fashion as clothes are being made super cute, long, and cozy.

Once upon a time, I could have cared less about fashion. I was the girl who wore studded belts, t-shirts, jeans, and converses all the time. I didn't get into fashion until I went over to Germany. Germans are all into fashion and they know exactly how to dress. There are no t-shirt, jean, converse girls over there. They are wearing the latest trend and making it look amazing! The prices of clothes were just right in our budget and shoes were super duper cheap when you hit the sales! So needless to say, the Germans influenced me on how I now dress today.

I am beginning to fall in love with leggings. In Germany, women wore leggings all the time. But they knew HOW to wear them where they were super cute. I'm sorry, but Americans do not know how to wear leggings 50% of the time, so until you go to Europe, you're probably not wearing them right.

Okay, moving forward, I had trouble finding leggings that I felt comfortable enough to wear with a longer shirt. I have a hourglass figure, meaning I have bigger hips. Now, I like my hips, I feel more feminine with them. But because I am blessed, it would seem that every pair of leggings I tried on showed my panties through them. I was very upset because I loved leggings and how comfortable they were!

Long story short, I finally found some CUTE leggings from Wal-Mart that don't show my panties through them and are SUPER comfortable! I LOVE them! Who would have thought Wal-Mart would have thicker leggings?! And only for $8, who could beat that price?!

Another fun fact about me: I'm a November baby!! So my birthday is Monday, November 17! I don't know about you, but my birthday lasts all month long! If yours doesn't, then it needs to! My husband and I went to the mall last Sunday and I freaked out since it was my birthday month and I was all like, "SPEND ALL THE MONIES!" I walked out with some amazing shirts, cardigan sweaters, and a new dress.

Now you may be wondering if I really needed to spend a unholy amount of money on new cardigan sweaters and shirts. But let me tell you something: an Arctic Blast moved in on Monday, November 10, and the temperature dropped to below 0. And it has stayed at 0 or below since then. I needed some WARM clothes! This whole week, I have been wearing a long sleeve shirt and a sweater cardigan inside my house and I have actually been comfy. Today, it actually warming up to 30 degrees! I'm tired of below 0 temperatures.

Here are some pictures I have complied over the last month and this week to how how I've been wearing existing and new clothes. Some styles I have discovered on my own, others I knew for a while. I'll try to list where I got everything as well, just in case you want what I'm wearing too :) Also, forgive the quality of some pictures as they were taken with my phone.

Dress: Forever 21, Cardigan: Deb, Belt: Another dress, Scarf: Charming Charlies, Boots: Europe maybe?
I never knew that floral and stripes could go together so well! I wore this outfit on Sunday since the temperature was 66 degrees (yes, the temperature dropped 60+ degrees in one night. Welcome to Arctic Blast season?), and I had two people tell me I looked super cute and trendy. I was very pleased with myself.
Shirt: Deb, Pants: Aeropostale, Shoes: Wal-Mart, Pearl Necklace: Shop here in Cheyenne
I wore this outfit to a friends birthday party with the same red stripe cardigan shown above. I did look trendy and I loved this shirt! Plus it was on sale, so I couldn't resist!

Cardigan: Maurices, Shirt: Maurices, Scarf: Charming Charlies, Boots: Germany, Pants: Aeropostale
Here are some newer clothes I brought from Maurices. I LOVE Maurices, but never shop there unless its my birthday. And for good reasons too! I LOVE what they have as they sell that in between stage. You know what I'm talking about: You can't dress like a teenager because you're too old, but you're too young to dress in the women's section. Hence my love for this store. The tribal shirt was the last they had and I was thinking to myself when I went to try it on, "If this doesn't fit, I may just cry!" I love tribal and it was just so cute! Thankfully it fit and all is well.

For all three pictures: Cardigan and shirt: Maurices, Jeans: JC Penney, Snowboots: Bass Pro Shop, Scarf: Brought in Germany

Yesterday didn't get above 10 degrees and I was going out and making errands and wanted to dress warm and comfy. I'm getting into a lot of the neutral colors and have been wanting a neutral color shirt for a long time! So I now I have not only a neutral color cardigan, but a warm shirt as well :)

Cardigan and Shirt: Maurices, Leggings: Wal-Mart, Scarf: ? My sister gave it to me, Snowboots: Bass Pro Shops
My dog thought he had to be in the picture too. But here is the leggings I was talking about that I got from Wal-Mart. Super cute and comfy! I love wearing clothes that make me feel comfortable, confident, and cozy! This picture was taken just this morning and it was a whole 17 degrees outside! So warm, considering that we've been experiencing a whole -5 degree weather for a week!

I hope you're inspired to go out and experiment with your wardrobe and discover what you can piece together! Some of these clothes I have had for a while, but never thought about matching them up together. Explore, be creative, and enjoy the clothes you own and try to come up with different outfits!
